Howard John Hipwood - One of the UK's most successful polo players, reached 9 goals at the height of his career. He represented England on numerous occasions as did his brother Julian, in 1992 he succeeded Julian as Captain of the England squad for the Westchester Cup, at Guards Polo Club. After retiring from competitive polo, Howard continued to Umpire and manage.
